Let me address a common misconception: just because AI is involved doesn't mean it's quick or should be cheap.

It can take up to 8 hours of professional HUMAN TIME to perform a full high-quality lyric swap, not including revisions.

When a word or a group of words is repeated throughout a song, it usually evolves. The melody, vocal performance, backing vocal, and mixing of a vocal are almost always not an exact copy.

Simply copy/pasting would create a mechanical, artificial sound that most listeners would immediately notice. Your ear is incredibly sensitive to these duplications - it just feels wrong.

So far, almost always. But it takes more human work than you might expect. AI isn't a silver bullet yet.

"Händel Messiah - Hallelujah Chorus" is an example of something we cannot do. The takeaway: generally live/poor quality large choir arrangements do not work.

Generally, non-English swaps under 10 words are fine. Especially if they are romance languages (French, Spanish, etc)

But in any other case - no.

While I initially wanted to be inclusive and offer any language, doing it well costs more time/money.

We may offer non-English lyric swaps at a later date, but for now we are sticking with English to make sure we deliver a high quality.
